Authorities have identified the gunman involved in the attack against former US President Donald Trump on Saturday as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
Crooks, who died in a shootout with police, fired multiple shots at Trump during a rally in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday night.
The FBI said in a statement that Crooks was a "lone actor" and that there was no evidence of any connection to any terrorist organization.
The investigation is ongoing.
