Brandon Aiyuk Ruled Out For Week 3 Due to Shoulder Injury
49ers Wide Receiver Injured in Win Over Rams
Chest and Shoulder Injuries Keep Aiyuk Sidelined
Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk of the San Francisco 49ers is expected to miss Week 3 of the NFL season due to a shoulder injury. Aiyuk suffered the injury during the 49ers' win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. He was in and out of the game due to the injury, which stemmed from several hits he took during the contest.
Aiyuk is currently dealing with both chest and shoulder injuries. ESPN reports that he is not expected to play in Week 3. The 49ers had an early injury scare in their Week 2 win when Aiyuk was forced to leave the game. The team will now have to adjust their offense without one of their top receivers.
Fantasy managers who had to go without Aiyuk in Week 2 will likely have to do so again in Week 3. It is unclear when Aiyuk will be able to return to the field, but the 49ers will be hoping to have him back as soon as possible.
